Because he is sooooo cute!

Here are a bunch of pictures, these are over the last couple of days.  Today is Max's 1 month birthday.  He is still doing well, he had a high blood gas last night so they had to change his settings a bit, but after that they were right back on line.  He is still weighing in at 1090 grams.  I am still waiting to hold him and it looks like it won't be for a while.  I got to give him another kiss last night and I will take what I can get.  I can never decide which pictures to use so here are a bunch of them.  Hope you enjoy.

Mobile

New Bedding

Max got a bedding change today and has the cutest blanket courtesy of Auntie Melody!!  Soccer balls and Monkeys, can it get any more cute? 

IV Free!!!!

Max is now IV free.  Yesterday at 8:00pm they capped off his PIC line and this morning it was totally taken out of him arm.  He can now wave his hands around with no restraints.  One step at a time and this is a big one.  I know there is a chance that they will have to put another one back in especially if he needs a blood transfusion, but I will take it for now.  Next goal is to get to the other ventilator.  The only things he has now is his feeding and breathing tube along with the sensor cords.  Following are pictures showing his little naked arm (and just cute ones because I think he is just too cute).

Face Tape Change

Yesterday evening little Max had another face tape change when I was there.  It was great, they even raised the top of is home so I could see better.  I got to give him a kiss on his head, that was very exciting for me.  It was the first kiss I ever got to give him.
