Max is now IV free. Yesterday at 8:00pm they capped off his PIC line and this morning it was totally taken out of him arm. He can now wave his hands around with no restraints. One step at a time and this is a big one. I know there is a chance that they will have to put another one back in especially if he needs a blood transfusion, but I will take it for now. Next goal is to get to the other ventilator. The only things he has now is his feeding and breathing tube along with the sensor cords. Following are pictures showing his little naked arm (and just cute ones because I think he is just too cute).
What size weight should I get him seince he has a free arm now. LOr maybe a baseball glove, or maybe a football so he can practice passing.
